NIHR's Council of Commissioners holds its 4th Extraordinary Meeting

The Council of Commissioners of the National Institution for Human Rights held its 4th extraordinary meeting at NIHR's headquarters in the Seef District under the chairpersonship of H.E Dr. Abdul Aziz Hassan Abul, chairperson of the NIHR.
During the meeting, the members discussed the final draft of NIHR's annual report for the year 2013. The members of Council of Commissioners submitted their remarks and proposals and the final wording was eventually adopted. It is expected that the final text to be in the coming few days, in preparation for submitting it to His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Khalifa, King of Bahrain May God protect him, pursuant to Article 14 of the Royal Order No. (46) of 2009 as amended by the Royal Order No. (28) of 2012, which stipulates that: "The NIHR shall draw up an annual report on its efforts, activities and other works, including any suggestions and recommendations within the scope of its competence, determine the performance impediments and solutions proposed to overcome them, and then submit the report to His Majesty the King".
