NIHR’s Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights convenes its 15th Regular Meeting

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights convened its 15th regular meeting, under the chairpersonship of Dr. Dr. Hameed Ahmed Husain and membership of Mr. Abdulla Ahmed Alderazi and Mrs. Mrs. Wedad Radhi Almoosawi, at the NIHR’s headquarters in Seef district.
The Committee reviewed all its resolutions and recommendations adopted at its previous meetings and the actions taken in that regard.
The Committee was also keen to follow-up on its previous proposal to hold a roundtable on People with Autism, with a view to highlight the services available to this group and make the necessary recommendations to ensure their equal access to all their rights.
