NIHR Celebrates Bahrain National Day and 17th Anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the Throne

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) celebrated the 45th National Day of Bahrain and the 17th Anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa's accession to the throne, may God protect him, with the presence of NIHR's Chairperson of the Council of Commissioners Dr. Abdul-Aziz Hassan Abul and a number of Council members as well as a number of directors and staff, expressing their delight of this glorious occasion.

On this national occasion, the NIHR's Chairperson of the Council of Commissioners expressed the most beautiful and tender congratulations to His Royal Highness HM King of Bahrain and the political leadership as well as to precious people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the occasion of Bahrain National Day and King's Accession Day, wishing HM the King all the best for the welfare and benefit of our beloved Kingdom and upgrade to advanced positions among emerging countries.  Meanwhile, he praised the efforts of the esteemed Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa and the First Deputy Prime Minister His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa for their work on improving the Bahraini citizens and their keenness on achieving the highest levels of progress in the human rights field.

On his part, the NIHR's Acting Secretary General Mr. Yasser Shaheen stated that this glorious national occasion is an annual pause to consolidate the spirit of citizenship in the hearts of everybody and a chance to recall national achievements of our Kingdom in all aspects thanks to HM the King's reform project, may God protect him, calling Allah Almighty to return this auspicious occasion to the Kingdom with prosperity and stability under the wise leadership of the country.
