NIHR Meets with Participants in the Clinical Vocational Rehabilitation Programme of the University of Bahrain
The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) has met with a number of participants in the Clinical Vocational Rehabilitation Programme from College of Law students at the University of Bahrain, at the NIHR headquarters in Seef district, within the framework of activating the principle of community partnership between the NIHR and educational institutions and based upon NIHR’s role in spreading and strengthening a culture of awareness of respect human rights.
Several specialized staff in the NIHR Legal Affairs and Training Department and Complaints and Call Centre participated in the implementation of the programme, which discussed a number of themes related to the NIHR powers and role in the human rights field, and how to prepare human rights reports, and provided a detailed explanation about the mechanism for receiving complaints and providing legal aids through the Complaints and Call Centre.
