NIHR Organises an Awareness Lecture for Employees of Aluminium Bahrain (Alba)
The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) has given a virtual awareness lecture for employees of Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) on the NIHR’s roles and missions in the protection and promotion of human rights.
The lecture was presented by D. Malallah Al-Hammadi, Head of the NIHR Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities, in which he discussed NIHR strategy, action plan and legal framework. He also presented a brief of the International Bill of Human Rights, which includes human rights and fundamental freedoms.
This event falls within the NIHR strategy, action plan and competencies in the field of promoting and disseminating a culture of human rights by holding lectures as well as training and educational courses for all segments of society on topics related to human rights.
