NIHR receives a Delegation of US Congressional staff

Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), in the presence of a number of members of the NIHR's Council of Commissioners, has received a delegation that included a number of staff of the US House of Representatives and the Senate of, on the occasion of the delegation’s official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The NIHR Chairman welcomed the delegation, praising the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly USA, and the development they are witnessing at all levels.

During the meeting, Al-Derazi gave a presentation on the NIHR's efforts to follow up on human rights situations, and its role in spreading, promoting and protecting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in accordance with the powers entrusted to it in its Establishment Law, in addition to the continuous interest that the NIHR pays to enhancing communication with everyone at the regional and international levels.
