In the 9th periodic meeting of its General Assembly the Arab Organization for Human Rights re-elects "Alderazi" a member of the Board of Trustees
HE Mr. Abdullah Ahmad Alderazi Vice Chairperson and head of the Complaints, Monitoring and Follow-up Committee in the National Institution for Human Rights was re-elected member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Organization for Human Rights, during the 9th periodic meeting of the General Assembly of the Organization held recently in Cairo.
The re-election of Mr. Alderazi was done by direct secret ballot under the supervision of a committee elected by the members of the General Assembly from the non-candidates.
Alderazi to be a member out of 20 of the Board of Trustees to take up the seats for the session of the Organization for the years 2015 to 2018.
The 9th periodic meeting of the General Assembly of the Arab Organization for Human Rights reviewed and assessed the activity of the organization during the previous session of the years 2011-2014, and discussed issues of interest in the current and coming period in light of the changes taking place in many countries in the Arab region and that shakes up the human rights situation in the region.
