NIHR is Accredited as a Member to the APF Facilitators and Educators Network on Human Rights
Within the framework of joint cooperation and coordination between the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) Secretariat-General and the Executive Administration of Asia-Pacific Forum (APF), the NIHR Secretariat-General, represented by Mrs. Fatima Al-Tareef, Head of the Training and Education Unit, participated in the training program on the preparation of Facilitators and Educators Network on Human Rights, held from May to June 2021.
During the training period, educational lessons were published on a weekly basis on the APF training website, along with an evaluation test for each lesson. In addition, all lessors were discussed through live broadcasts with all participants, where the topics included training and education in the field of human rights, linking it to the work of national human rights institutions, explaining theory, principles and methods of education and training, and providing a brief explanation about human rights education using modern electronic means for distance training.
