NIHR is receiving a Delegation of the German Parliament

Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), has received a delegation from the German Parliament on the side-lines of the delegation’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the agenda of the 146^th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, in the presence of a number of members of the Council of Commissioners.

During the meeting, Al-Derazi presented a brief on the NIHR’s role in dealing with issues related to human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.  The delegation was also briefed on the NIHR’s advisory role in making recommendations related to human rights.

For their part, the members of the delegation expressed their appreciation for the efforts made by the NIHR in the human rights field, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people continued progress and prosperity.
