NIHR Receives a Delegation from the US House of Representatives and Senate Staff
Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairperson of the National institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received a delegation from the US House of Representatives and Senate Staff, in the presence of a number of members of the Council of Commissioners and the Secretary-General, on the occasion of the delegation’s official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The NIHR Chairperson welcomed the visiting delegation, commending the close relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly United States of America and the development they are witnessing at all levels.
During the meeting, Al-Derazi reviewed the NIHR’s efforts in following up on the human rights situation, and the NIHR’s role in spreading, promoting and protecting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in accordance with the terms of reference entrusted to it in its Establishment Law, in addition to the NIHR’s continuous attention to the enhancement of communication with everyone at regional and international levels.
