NIHR Chairman Receives Representative of EU Delegation accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain

Eng. Ali Al-Derazi, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received at the NIHR headquarters in Seef district Mr. Angelos Linos, First Secretary of the European Union Delegation accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Riyadh.

During the meeting, Al-Derazi reviewed NIHR’s work methodology for the next stage, stressing the importance of continuing the cooperation and coordination between the two sides in areas related to human rights, and discussed a number of issues of common interest and the NIHR’s role in addressing them.

For his part, Mr. Linos congratulated Al-Derazi for his election as Chairman of the NIHR, wishing him and the members of the Council of Commissioners success in their work tasks, expressing his appreciation for the NIHR’s unremitting efforts to support, protect and promote human rights.
