NIHR organizes a training workshop on Etiquette and Protocols

Within the policy framework adopted by the NIHR and its concern for developing its human resources and its continued and permanent endeavor to attract useful programs that contribute to developing and building human resources; the National Institution for Human Rights organized a training workshop on etiquette and protocols presented by etiquette expert Ms. Nadine Daher.

HE Dr. Abdulaziz Hassan Abel, Chairperson of the NIHR, gave speech in which he stressed the importance of holding this event to obtain the skills required in diplomatic, institutional and social dealing. We think that acquiring such skills is deemed as one of the most effective and successful means in the field of media and social communication.

On his part, Dr. Abdurrahman Al Jawahri, Member of NIHR Council of Commissioners, stressed that etiquette and international protocols are critical in developing human elements, enhancing personal and professional image of workers at various government entities, institutions and companies, Such skills promote self-confidence and raise professional behavioral morals and excellence when working in an international environment or when communicating with the partners from all over the world.

The workshop defined etiquette as an art that includes behavior, morals, taste, good conduct and self-respect for and respect for others. In addition, it is the art of dealing with the others, good qualities and elegant socially acceptable conduct.

Etiquette expert Ms. Nadine Daher dealt with many important topics related to the importance of commitment to rules and morals at work,  shedding light on the main points to be respected and adhered to during all types of business meetings within different circles. Moreover, she explained the tools to be included in discourse  in general and that adopted at work in particular.

On this occasion, etiquette expert Ms. Nadine Daher thanked the NIHR very much; paying special tribute to the concern the NIHR Board of Commissioners show for adopting and implementing the art of dealing and morals among the NIHR's employees, stressing the extreme importance of the art of dealing skills and its marked effects on enhancing communication skills, self-expression ability and personal support.
