NIHR and NSSA discuss Strengthening Joint Cooperation

Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), has received Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Asiri, Executive Director of the National Space Science Agency (NSSA), and his accompanying delegation, where he praised the effective role of the NSSA in developing national capabilities in the fields of space science, in a way that serves the directions of the Kingdom of Bahrain and enhances its position in these fields.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation and coordination between the them, and the possibility of the NSSA’s participation as a keynote speaker in the international conference that the NIHR will organise in September, which revolves around the right to a clean and sustainable environment, to highlight the role that the NSSA plays in contributing to the protection of the environment through the use of Artificial Intelligence techniques and space technologies by providing data and images from satellites.

For his part, Dr. Al-Asiri appreciated the NIHR’s essential role in protecting and promoting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, looking forward to cooperation with the NIHR to serve common goals and contribute to the achievement of goodness, progress and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
