NIHR's Deputy Chairperson meets the French Ambassador for Human Rights
His Excellency Mr. Abdullah Al Derazi, NIHR's Vice Chairman, met Patrizianna Sparacino-Thiellay, the French Ambassador at Large for Human Rights, in charge of Holocaust Issues at the French Foreign Ministry on the sidelines of his visit to the French capital, Paris. During the meeting, His Excellency briefed the French official on the NIHR-led dedicated efforts to protect and safeguard human rights, its role in the field of disseminating human rights culture among both nationals and residents in the Kingdom. He also briefed Mrs. Thiellay on the NIHR's action plan and activities carried out in the human rights, social, political cultural and educational fields.
Also, The NIHR Vice chairperson met Mr. Michel Frost the General Secretary of the French Human Rights Commission in the presence of a number of Commissioners. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation to exchange expertise and hold joint workshops.
