The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) has developed its library by adding a number of legal and human rights publications issued by renowned human rights organizations and universities such as Oxford and Harvard with a view to disseminate the culture of human rights among researchers and jurists and help them to use these resources as a reference for the development of their research capacity in the human rights and legal area in accordance with NIHR’s strategic plan.

On this occasion, Dr. Khalifa bin Ali Al-Fadel, NIHR’s Secretary-General, said that the NIHR is keen to develop the information resources at its library on a continuous basis in order to spread and promote the culture of human rights among various society groups, especially the youth, being the builders of the future and the core of the society.

Dr. Al-Fadel also expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the University of Bahrain, the Bahrain Center for Strategic and International Studies and Energy and the Bahrain Political Development Institute for their invaluable support to the NIHR’s library through the provision of valuable relevant books and researches.
