President of National Institution for Human Rights receives Assistant Undersecretary for Labor Affairs at the Ministry of Labor and Social Development
HE Mr. Abdul-Aziz Hassan Abul, President of the National Institution for Human Rights received at the NIHR headquarters in the Seef District HE Dr. Mohammed Ali Al Ansari, Assistant Undersecretary for Labor Affairs at the Ministry of Labor and Social Development. They discussed the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Bahrain to protect and enlighten expatriate workers and to remove the obstacles and hindrances they encounter during their residence and work in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
HE NIHR's President stated that the NIHR always welcomes cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social development in every aspect that serves labor rights of the citizens and residents alike. At the same time, he commended the policy adopted by the Ministry in executing the resolutions and laws that contribute to maintaining human rights; especially those related to the expatriate workers.
On his part, HE Dr. Mohammed Ali Al Ansari, Assistant Undersecretary for Labor Affairs at the Ministry of Labor and Social Development stated that the Ministry is concerned with all issues related to monitoring the human rights situations of expatriate workers; especially in the private sector and the method of dealing with the same through cooperation between the NIHR and the Ministry of Labor and Social Development to bolster the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a model for respecting freedoms and maintaining human rights.
