NIHR Receives Ambassadors of the Republics of France and Italy

Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), has received at the NIHR’s Headquarters in the Seef District Mr. Jérome Cauchard, Ambassador of the Republic of France, and Mrs. Paola Amadei, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy, accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain,
During the meeting, welcomed the two ambassadors, and discussed with them a number of issues related to the human rights situation in general, and the NIHR’s role in dealing with the human rights situation in Bahrain, looking forward to strengthening means of cooperation with the embassies of France and Italy through the exchange of expertise and experiences in the legal and human rights field to support efforts aiming to achieve common goals.
For their part, the ambassadors of France and Italy valued the NIHR’s active role in protecting human rights and its endeavours to promote a human rights culture in the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing Bahrain and its people continued progress.
