NIHR’s Chairperson Receives a Copy of a Master’s Thesis on the Guarantees of Exercising Freedom of Opinion by the Public Sector Employee

, HE Mr. Saeed bin Mohamed Al-Faihani, Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), met at his office at the NIHR Mrs. Eman Al-Abu, Head of the Complaints and Monitoring Unit at NIHR’s Secretariat-General, on the occasion of her completion of the Master Degree in Public Law from the University of Bahrain with “Excellent with First Honors”, when she presented to him a copy of her Master’s thesis entitled “Guarantees of Exercising Freedom of Opinion by the Public Sector Employee – a Comparative Study”, which highlighted the guarantee of equal access to public positions as a prerequisite for occupancy of public positions through a comparison between French and Bahraini systems, through international covenants on human rights.

NIHR’s Chairperson praised the valuable effort exerted in the preparation of this thesis as well as the valuable subject and study it deals with, wishing her continuous success in her scientific and practical life, stressing that the NIHR supports and encourages the educational and academic process to the benefit and good of the home country.

For her part, Mrs. Eman Al-Abu thanked and appreciated NIHR’s Chairperson for his support and encouragement to the staff and for urging them to develop themselves and increase their scientific attainment.
