NIHR continuing its visits to the Correction and Rehabilitation Center in the "Jaw"
In continuation of the previously announced field visits aimed at evaluating the progress in response to submitted observations and recommendations, a delegation from the National Institution for Human Rights conducted an on-site assessment at the Correction and Rehabilitation Center in the Jaw.
A collaborative meeting involving representatives from the center administration, inmates, and ward representatives was convened to examine the inmates' living conditions.
The National Institution reaffirms its unwavering commitment to safeguarding the rights of all individuals, with a particular focus on those in correctional, rehabilitation, or pretrial detention centers. This commitment extends to ensuring that individuals enjoy their rights as outlined in national legislation and relevant international standards. The Institution is dedicated to working in tandem with relevant authorities to identify optimal strategies for enhancing the quality of services provided.
