NIHR considers Means of Cooperation with Arab Gulf Parliamentary Initiative
The Vice-chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), Mr. Khaled Abdulaziz Alshaer, received Mr. Gamal Bu Hassan, Secretary-General of the Arab Gulf Parliamentary Initiative and member of the World Parliamentary Network.
During the meeting, Alshaer reviewed ways of enhancing cooperation and partnership between the NIHR and the Arab Gulf Parliamentary Initiative in the supreme interest of the homeland and in support for the continuous march of development and human rights achievements, through exchanging expertise and holding joint workshops and training courses.
For his part, Mr. Bu Hassan praised the NIHR’s great efforts to improve the human rights aspect in Bahrain and the care of its staff for cooperation with civil society organizations to the interest of the development of human rights work.
