NIHR Receives the UNDP Acting Resident Representative
Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received Mr. Firas Gharaibeh, the UNDP Acting Resident Representative in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where they discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two sides in areas related to human rights and sustainable development programmes.
During the meeting, Al-Derazi affirmed the NIHR’s keenness to continue cooperation with the UN and its affiliated bodies, with the aim of benefiting from the distinguished expertise and joint coordination, especially with regard to the establishment of training programmes and participation in the international conference that the NIHR will organise during the month of September, which revolves around the right to a clean and sustainable environment.
