Council of Commissioners of The National Institution for Human Rights holds the 15th ordinary meeting

The Board of Directors of the National Institution for Human Rights held its 15th Ordinary Meeting under the Chairmanship of His Excellency, Dr. Abdulaziz Hassan Abul at its headquarters in Seef District.
The Board was briefed on the International Conference on the Arab Court of Human Rights, held from May 25 to 26, 2014 and, the Bahrain Declaration issued at its conclusion. It’s most important conclusions were also discussed.
The external auditor submitted a detailed report on the audited financial statements for 2013, and the Board was told about the NIHR’s financial and accounting situation, after which it approved the report.
The Board also discussed the complaints and requests for assistance it received and action taken to address those.
The Board heard a presentation on the posts of foreign members and took note of them.
