NIHR Board holds Fourth Meeting

The Board of Directors of the National Institution for Human Rights held its Fourth Meeting under the Chairmanship of His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Hassan Abul at its headquarters in Seef District on May 28, 2013.
The meeting adopted a proposal on civil and political rights pertaining to topics which could be addressed during NIHR workshops, listed among its national strategies and plans.
The Board was also notified on the participation of Civil and Political Rights Committee Chairperson, Jaleela Ali Salman and Senior Member Farid Ghazi in the Ninth Annual Meeting of the Arab Network of National Human Rights Institutions to be held in Rabat, Morocco on June 15 and 16.
The Board decided to hold its next meeting on June 25.
