NIHR Council holds Fourth Meeting

The Board of Directors of the National Institution for Human Rights held its Fourth Meeting under the Chairmanship of His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Hassan Abul on July 14, at its headquarters in Seef District.
During the meeting, the NIHR’s activities and plan of action until the end of the year, were reviewed.
The Board discussed procedures to apply for accreditation from the International Coordinating Committee on National Institutions for Human Rights, as also the time required to do so.
Plans for NIHR participation in the 30th session of the Human Rights Council in September, were also discussed along with participation in several regional and international events related to human rights.
