Meeting

Chaired by Dr. Fawzia Saeed Al Saleh, General Rights and Freedoms Committee held its forty-fifth meeting, which began by reviewing the results of a visit by several commissioners from the NIHR to the Rehabilitation and Reform Center in the Jau area.

During the meeting, the committee discussed the actions taken based on the advisory opinions from the Council of Representatives regarding proposals to amend certain articles, aiming to ensure that these amendments comply with legal and constitutional frameworks.

Additionally, the committee continued to monitor its proposals for organizing various awareness programs and lectures for official bodies about the role and responsibilities of NIHR in enhancing and protecting human rights.
