NIHR’s Committee on Public Rights and Freedoms Convenes its 22nd Regular Meeting

Under the chairpersonship of D. Fawzeya Saeed Al-Saleh, and membership of Dr. Bader Mohamed Adel and Mr. Daniel Cohen, the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s Committee on Public Rights and Freedoms has convened its 22^nd regular meeting at the NIHR headquarters in Seef district.

The Committee opened its agenda by completing the discussion of issues related to holding events, workshops and round tables on human rights that are proposed to be held during the coming period.

During the visit, Dr. Bader Mohamed Adel gave a brief about his participation in the Scientific Forum for Human Rights between International Standards and Scientific Practices held by the Royal Police Academy. Mr. Cohen also presented an overview of his visit to Northern Ireland and England to learn about best practices regarding the mechanism for dealing with child complaints organised by the NI-CO Institution in cooperation with the British Embassy in Bahrain.
