NIHR’s Committee on Public Rights and Freedoms Convenes its 1st Meeting Virtually

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s Committee on Public Rights and Freedoms has convened its 1st meeting virtually under the chairpersonship of Dr. Fawzeya Al-Saleh and membership of Dr. Badr Mohamed Adel and Mr. Ahmed Al-Saloom, where the Committee opened its meeting by thanking and praising the active role of the formal members of the Committee and the work and efforts they have made over the past period.
The Committee then discussed its views regarding the Draft Law on Mental Health referred from the House of Representatives, and reviewed the previous resolutions and recommendations and the actions taken thereupon.
