NIHR’s Committee on Public Rights and Freedoms Convenes its 12th Meeting Virtual

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s Committee on Public Rights and Freedoms has convened its 12^thmeeting virtually via ZOOM under the chairpersonship of Dr. Fawzeya Saeed Al-Saleh and membership of Dr. Bader Mohamed Adel and Mr. Ahmed Subah Al-Saloom.

The Committee opened its agenda by ensuring the quorum of the meeting and adopting previous meeting minutes. The Committee discussed a proposal for cooperation with official authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain to provide dual protection for employers and domestic workers at the same time, by finding out legal and material solutions and examining to what extent protection is provided for domestic workers in legal provisions, administrative resolutions and regulations.
