NIHR’s Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities Convenes its 32nd Meeting

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities has convened its 32nd regular meeting, under the chairpersonship of D. Malallah J. Al-Hammadi, and membership of Mrs. Hala Ramzi Fayez.
The agenda commenced with a review of actions taken regarding previous resolutions and recommendations. Following this, the Committee discussed its recent visit to the Correction and Rehabilitation Center in Jau, focusing on concerns raised about the quality of drinking water and ensuring appropriate measures are taken in response.
