NIHR’s Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities convenes its 24th Meeting

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities has convened its 24th regular meeting, under the chairpersonship of D. Malallah Al-Hammadi, and membership of Mrs. Hala Ramzi and D. Hooreya Hassan.
The Committee opened its agenda by reviewing its previous resolutions and recommendations and the actions taken thereupon. During the meeting, the Committee discussed the outcomes of the visit conducted by it to the Bahrain MS Patients Society, in order to find out about and follow-up their health affairs in a manner that guarantees the promotion and protection of their rights established by international human rights standards.
