Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Committee holds its 18th Ordinary meeting

Economic, Social and Cultural Committee of the National Institution for Human Rights held its 18th ordinary meeting on Monday, September 10, 2014 under the chairpersonship of HE Dr. May Sulaiman Al-Otaibi, and the membership of HE Dr. Bader Mohammed Adel at the headquarters of the National Institution in Alseef district.
Commission has completed its discussions on the final observations of the Committee in charge of on the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) and the relevant authorities expected to implement it particularly the recommendations related to temporary special measures and stereotypes. The Committee reached a number of observations and recommendations and shall continue discussing them in the next ordinary meeting
