NIHR’s Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities Convenes its 34th Meeting

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities has convened its 34th regular meeting, under the chairpersonship of D. Malallah J. Al-Hammadi, and membership of Mrs. Hala Ramzi Fayez, and Dr. Hooria Hassan.
The committee commenced its agenda by examining the steps taken concerning its prior resolutions and suggestions. Additionally, the committee deliberated on forthcoming recommendations stemming from the visit to the Social Welfare Center in Hamad Town. Moreover, the committee reviewed the progress of a visit conducted by one of the Council of Commissioners to the Correction and Rehabilitation Center in Jau during Ramadan.
