Meeting

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities has convened its 42^nd regular meeting, under the chairpersonship of D. Malallah J. Al-Hammadi, and membership of Mrs. Hala Ramzi Fayez, and Dr. Hooria Aldairi. The committee commenced its meeting by reviewing the results and recommendations of its previous visit reports and made the appropriate decisions.

Additionally, the committee continued its discussions on the proposed field visits for the upcoming period. These include several health institutions to examine the health services and medical care provided to individuals, as well as a visit to an open prison facility to assess the overall conditions of the inmates and review the procedures in place.
