Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Committee Holds its Fifth Meeting

The NIHR’s Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Committee held its fifth regular meeting at the NIHR’s headquarters in the Seef District headed by H.E. Dr. Fawzeya Saed Al Saleh. The meeting was attended by Committee Members H.E. Dr. Mai Suleiman Al Otaibi and H.E. Mr. Abdul-Jabar Ahmed Al Tayeb
During the meeting, the Committee approved the minutes of the previous meeting and discussed the work mechanism of the Follow-up Committee concerned with the environmental situation in the Buhair Valley and Galali Area.
The Committee considered an initial perception on some points that can be addressed in the workshops to be organized by the NIHR soon. The Committee reviewed a letter received from the Ministry of Labor that included information on the Trade Unions registered at the Ministry in Kingdom of Bahrain.
