Meeting

Chaired by Dr. Malallah Jaffar Al-Hammadi, the Detention and Facilities Visitation Committee convened its forty-fourth regular meeting at the organization's headquarters. The meeting began with a review of the results and recommendations from previous visit reports, and appropriate decisions were taken accordingly.

The committee proceeded with discussions about the proposed field visits for the upcoming period to several entities, including the Salmaniya Medical Complex and the Open Prison Building. It also reviewed the progress on its proposals to deliver educational lectures aimed at familiarizing the community with the organization's role in enhancing and protecting human rights.

At the end of the meeting, the committee emphasized the importance of routine visits, both announced and unannounced, to the Rehabilitation and Correction Center in the Jaw area, to assess the inmates' conditions and ensure their rights are maintained according to national laws and relevant international standards.
