NIHR’s Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities convenes its 27th Meeting

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR)’s Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities has convened its 27th regular meeting, under the chairpersonship of D. Malallah J. Al-Hammadi, and membership of Dr. Hooreya Abbas Hassan.
The Committee opened its agenda by reviewing the observations and recommendations made by the NIHR based upon the visits conducted by a delegation of the NIHR to the Correction and Rehabilitation Centre in "Jaw" region to determine the conditions of a number of inmates.
