NIHR Organizes an Introductory Lecture for Gulf University Students
The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) held an introductory lecture for a group of students from Gulf University during their visit to the institution’s headquarters to explore its role in protecting and promoting human rights.
The lecture, delivered by Fatima Altarif, Head of the Training and Education Department, along with several specialists in the legal and human rights fields, addressed the inception, competencies, and role of the institution in enhancing and safeguarding human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It also covered general concepts about international law, international human rights instruments, and other national mechanisms dedicated to enhancing and protecting human rights.
This event is part of a community partnership with educational institutions in the kingdom, aligning with the institution’s strategy and action plan to raise awareness about human rights principles and foundations across all societal segments.
