NIHR launches its training program for students of legal clinics and human rights (2023-2024)
NIHR has initiated its training initiative for students enrolled in the Legal Clinic and Human Rights program at the University of Bahrain for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024. This initiative is part of the institution's commitment to fostering awareness and respect for human rights within society through collaborative partnerships with relevant stakeholders.
Ms. Fatima Al-Tarif, Head of the Training and Education Unit at the institution, officially launched the program. She provided an in-depth overview to the participants, detailing the program's content, training methodologies, and research protocols.
Following this, Mr. Mohammed Al-Najjar, Head of the Legal Affairs Unit at the institution, delivered a lecture covering various aspects of human rights, including fundamental freedoms and the mechanisms at national, regional, and international levels for safeguarding human rights.
