National Institution for Human Rights Organizes a virtual trip for the students of Zainab Intermediate School for Girls
In line with the principle of community partnership with various educational institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the National Institution for Human Rights, in cooperation with Zainab Intermediate School for Girls, organized a virtual trip for the school’s students to the NIHR’s Headquarters via video conferencing, during which a short video was shown about the NIHR’s work mechanism, facilities and divisions, in addition to the most important publications concerned with children's rights, the NIHR issued with the aim of disseminating awareness and promoting a culture of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
An awareness lecture was also given on the role of the NIHR in promoting and protecting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to presenting an overview of the rights of the child. The event was conducted in the presence of Ms. Laila Abdul Rahman, the school Principal, and some administrative and educational staff members. Approximately, 210 school students participated in the event.
