NIHR Commences its Training Programmes for Students of Human Rights Legal Clinic
Within the framework of its role to disseminate and promote a culture of awareness of respect for human rights among members of the society, and in activation of the principle of community partnership between it and the educational institutions, the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) has commenced its training programme for students of the Human Rights Legal Clinic at the University of Bahrain, batch 20, for the second semester 2022-2023.
The programme was opened by Mrs. Fatima Al-Tarif, Head of the NIHR Training and Education Unit. She gave an overview of the importance of this programme, which will contribute to increasing the human rights and legal awareness of the participants through a training mechanism that contains several general themes on the human rights and fundamental freedoms and the national, regional and international mechanisms for the protection of human rights.
