NIHR Holds a Series of Lectures and Training Workshops for Participants in Research Fellowship Program
The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) has convened a series of lectures and training workshops, over a period of three weeks via video conference, for students of the College of Law at the Royal University for Women participating in the Research Fellowship Program in the field of human rights, which was presented by a number of NIHR law and human rights specialists, through which they discussed NIHR competencies and mechanism of action, its role in the promotion and protection of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the services it provides to citizens and residents, the legal framework of its action, and its most essential achievements in the promotion and protection of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
It is worth noting that the Research Fellowship Program was launched by the NIHR in 2019, with the participation of more than 100 people from various bodies and specialties, targeting academics, university students, human rights defenders and all those interested in preparing research in the field of human rights, which attempts to develop critical thinking and analysis skills in the field of human rights and to develop innovation and creativity skills to find the best ways to promote and protect human rights and initiate partnerships with international organizations and universities acting in the human rights field.
