NIHR is organizing a Workshop for a Number of Accredited Embassies in Bahrain

The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) continues its awareness programs within the framework of its role to spread the culture of human rights and raise the awareness of residents about their rights and duties. In this regard, the NIHR organized a workshop on “The Role of the NIHR in the Promotion and Dissemination of the Culture of Human Rights and its Mechanism for receiving and following-up complaints” to a number of representatives of a number of accredited embassies in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The workshop was presented by Ms. Maria Khoury, Chairperson of the NIHR, in which she introduced the participants to the services provided by the NIHR to the citizens and residents, and its role in serving the society to reach the maximum levels of protection and promotion in the human rights aspect.

For their part, the participants expressed their appreciation to the NIHR for holding this event and for its tireless efforts, in support of the well-established human rights principle “Human Rights for All”.
