NIHR and “Youth and Technology” organize a Workshop on “Employing Technology in the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights”
The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), in partnership with the Youth and Technology Association, organized a workshop entitled “Employing Technology in the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights”, which was presented by Mrs. Noora Al-Baluchi, Board Member of the Youth and Technology Association, and Mr. Hussain Al-Dosari from NIHR’s Legal Affairs and Training Department, at the Training Center in the NIHR’s headquarters.
The workshop aimed at introducing partners to the importance of employing technology in the promotion and protection of human rights by presenting the practical experiences of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the right to education, the right to personal security and the role of technology in developing those rights.
This activity comes within the mandate of the NIHR in the promotion and dissemination of human rights through holding lectures and training and educational courses for all segments of society on human rights issues, in partnership with civil society organizations.
