NIHR Organises a Lecture for Inspection Staff at Customs Ports
In cooperation with Customs Affairs, the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) has organised a virtual lecture entitled “Concepts of Human Rights between International and National Law”, with the participation of a number of inspection staff members at customs ports.
The lecture was presented by D. Bader Mohamed Adel, a member of the NIHR’s Council of Commissioners, in which he dealt with three themes, namely general concepts about human rights and public rights and freedoms, including basic human rights principles, international legitimacy of human rights, and the legal value of international agreements on human rights and ways to implement them.
This event is part of the NIHR’s strategy, action plan and competencies in the area of promoting and disseminating a culture of human rights by holding training and educational lectures and courses for all segments of society on themes related to human rights.
