National Institution for human rights begins its training programme for students at the Human Rights Legal Clinic
The inaugural session of the National Institution for Human Rights training program for students enrolled in the Legal and Human Rights Clinic at the University of Bahrain's first semester (2023-2024) commenced at the institution's headquarters in the Seef district.
Ms. Latifa Rashid Al-Jalahma, Director of the Legal Affairs and Training Department at the institution, provided an extensive overview to the participants regarding the institution's role in training and educating students within the legal clinic. The program focuses on human rights, fundamental freedoms, and national, regional, and international mechanisms for human rights protection. Additionally, Ms. Al-Jalahma outlined the references and sources to be utilized throughout the training program.
