NIHR Participates in a Conference on “the Reality of Extremism and its Factors among Young People in Arab Society”
The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), represented by Director of Legal Affairs Mrs. Latifa Al-Jalahma and Legal Researchers Noura Al-Banahwi and Marwa Ali, participated in a symposium on “the Reality of Extremism and its Factors among Young People in Arab Society”, organized by Mother and Child Welfare Society's Women and Child Information Center. The conference was addressed by HE former Secretary General of the League of Arab States Mr. Amro Moussa, Chairman of Ibn Khaldun Studies and Research Center in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Dr. Diab Al-Badaina and Director of the Center Dr. Khawla Al-Hassan.
The symposium, moderated by the Media Professional Mrs. Sawsan Al-Sha’er, was attended by 115 participants led by His Excellency Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Sheikh Khalid Bin Ali Al Khalifa, as well as a number of ambassadors and representatives of embassies in the Kingdom of Bahrain, members of the Shura Council, and representatives of Ministry of Interior, women associations and NGOs.
