NIHR Gives a Lecture to the Human Rights Legal Clinic Students in the Kingdom of Bahrain
The National institution for Human Rights (NIHR) Secretariat-General organized an introductory lecture on “The Role of the NIHR in Protection and Promotion of Human Rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Methodology for Preparing Human Rights Reports” for Human Rights Legal Clinic students at the NIHR Training Centre at the NIHR’s Headquarters in the Seef District.
The lecture was presented by Mr. Mohamed Al-Najjar, Head of the NIHR Legal Affairs Unit, in which he reviewed the NIHR’s role, its Establishment Law, the services provided by it to citizens and residents in order to protect and promote human rights, the legal framework for its work, and the training provided by it to students on preparing human rights reports by searching in relevant electronic sources related to human rights.
This event is part of the activities accompanying the Human Rights Legal Clinic Program organized by the College of Law of the University of Bahrain, to refine students' expertise in the field of protection and promotion of human rights.
