NIHR Holds an Event on the Occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In coincidence with the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Secretariat-General of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), in cooperation with Al Salam Specialised Hospital, has organised an awareness event on the occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in order to participate in efforts to spread awareness and health education about this disease.

Female employees of the NIHR Secretariat-General participated in the event, where they were introduced to the risks of this disease in women, its stages, ways to prevent it, and the importance of early detection through regular examinations, which provide an opportunity for early detection of the disease and provision of the necessary treatment to achieve high survival rates.

This event comes within the partnership with health institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which aims to enhance the preventive aspect and early detection of diseases, to raise health awareness level among female employees.
