National Institution for Human Rights organized an introductory lecture for its staff on (green policy applications and optimal utilization of resources) in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance at the headquarters of the National Institution in Alseef district.
The lecture was based on the presentation of the Ministry of Finance experience in providing green work environment compatible with domestic and international standards relating to the conservation of the environment, and how to spread an environmental culture among all employees, and to increase and improve the awareness of the issues associated to the environment.
During the lecture, they also discussed some practical applications and tests according to measure indicators that show the impact of the Green policy use in the workplace, particularly relating to the consumption of paper, waste recycling and reduction in energy consumption aiming to attain the universal ISO in the environmental field.
The lecture was presented by the quality specialist Mr. Jassem Mansour and the head of financial information management department Ms. Marin Qasim Kazemi from the Ministry of Finance, and was attended by the Vice Secretary-General Mr. Yasser Saqer Al Shirawi, a number of department directors and employees from the Secretariat general of the National Institution for Human Rights.
