NIHR receives Asst. Undersecretary at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endownment
Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi, the Chairperson of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), hosted Dana Khamees Al Zayani, Assistant Undersecretary for Courts, Family Reconciliation and Alimony at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, in the presence of Dr. Hooria Hassan, Child Rights Commissioner at NIHR.
During their meeting, both parties discussed strengthening cooperation between their respective organizations, specifically focusing on the protection and promotion of child rights in accordance with international standards and principles.
They reviewed current and future strategies and programs concerning child rights, examining ways to enhance and develop these initiatives to ensure comprehensive protection for children in various conditions. They also highlighted the importance of cohesive collaboration between the National Institution and the Ministry of Justice to fulfill their objectives in the area of child rights protection.
